hello, i've just began work on what's basically a rewrite of the bridewater college series. i'll be merging that into a series with "those years between us", with honoria, theo, and orion being in the same year (and thus salome two years beneath them!). i'll have to first finish writing honoria and theo's story, which would be turned into one book, and then i'll start work on orion and salome (and maybe even camille and dean after that!)

hiii. obvs i'm working on good bones rn but i'm also wondering if i should start planning/writing something else on the side? i have an idea for a fairly big fantasy series but i've lost inspo a bit (and want to plan it out more), and was thinking about picking up something a bit smaller first. i want to write something boarding school-related (uni is maybe also fine), and was wondering if you guys would enjoy something more akin to "those years between us", one-book sort of romance, or something with an element of magic more similar to the bridewater duology? i might end up rewriting the bridewater duology to be 1) more magical 2) less akin to my real life. i reallyyyy wanna do academic rivals to lovers but obvs that can fit into a more realistic or soft fantasy setting so... gimme your ops and what you'd prefer to see!!!!!

How do you make complex characters like what do you do to imagine and plan their actions

@Mary06216 hi, I try to imagine them in my head a lot! I’m quite good at dialogue so more often than not it stems from there—I come up with the dialogue and do actions to match. I also sort of write short character analysis for my characters to lay down their main motives and relationships!
