Dear Readers,
          
          This author has unpublished [I Ignored the Protagonists, Now They’re After Me] due to the fact that she wants to completely put her focus on [Evil Lady Unrepentant]. Her story, which has 159k views at the time of unpublishing, was the start of a whimsical choice of publishing her draft stories and not expecting anything to happen. She’s made many account before and every story she’s posted has met the same ending. Therefore, it was not a exaggeration when she felt excited when she first started to get readers. She was so grateful for even 50 reads, which turned into 100, then 500, then 1k and she watched. She watched as it grew to 159k and she felt such love and appreciation for everyone who read it.
          
          But that era of Maerie’s life is over.
          
          It’s confusing to have two stories, both of the same character yet completely different plot lines. One the author doesn’t have energy to spend time on and the other which is the only one she spends any energy on. Personally, this author believes her first story is completely unprepared and has random things put into it to make it interesting. The rewrite, which was made from scratch but also wasn’t at the same time, is something she’s more carefully and patiently putting her time into. She hopes that everyone will feel the same way.
          
          Please don’t repost the old story. This author believes it’s time for it to be put to rest. If any of her readers know sites that repost it, please let her know. There will be no more updates to that story, and this author, Nikki Yokoyami, explicitly states she does NOT give permission to anyone to continue that story, take any inspiration from that story, repost it after MAY 24, 2021 5:00 AM EST, or any other form of reproducing.
