I'm an aspiring author. I love to read, and writing is one of my passions. Just being able to create anything you want, to put what's in your mind onto paper to share with others, is something I thoroughly enjoy. My main genre, for both reading and writing, would have to be fantasy. Yes, I'm a fan of vampire novels, but mainly because there are so many different takes on them! I mean Anne Rice, to Stephenie Meyer, to Richelle Mead... each one has a different opinion on vampires, and I just find it fascinating. My favorite author, however, would have to be Amelia Atwater-Rhodes. She's amazing, and I would highly recommend 'Hawksong' and 'In the Forests of the Night'; two of my all-time favorite novels. Now here's some random Ashley facts :) 

-I love to swim
-I also draw, though I haven't for a while
-I enjoy watching anime
-I love constructive criticism, and hope that my feedback for others is viewed as such
-I care more about my friends than myself
-I'm very protective over the people I care about
-My favorite color is purple
-Everyone mispronounces my last name
-I'm going to be a published author some day
