          	❥┋. . . AJ fell to the chiseled tile flooring of the bathroom in Oliver's Bakery. The neon pink lights flickered, making the teen disoriented. Her blurry vision wasn't helping, and instead made her head spin. She put a hand to her mouth to muffle her sobs, worried that Oliver, despite being all the way in the kitchen, would hear her and burst in, ready to punish her. 
          	
          	Her chest burned and constriced, her throat tightening up with the pain of keeping her tears in.  AJ pulled herself up with the porcelain sink hanging from the wall and stared at herself in the mirror. Her puffy eyes and her tear-streaked face,  with more tears coming like waterfalls out of her gunmetal blue eyes. 
          	
          	'He doesn't love you,' her mind screamed, 'you know it's true! Have you seen the way he looks at you?' 
          	
          	And, the sad truth was, the voices were right. But AJ shook her head in denial, letting out a choked exclamation of, "You're wrong!"
          	
          	Her eyes widened, clamping her hands tight over her mouth and holding her breath. Tears fell over her scratches and gashes on her hands, which were usually covered up by white, lacey gloves. 
          	
          	"No, it's alright, she's having one of her fits and nobody else is in here." She heard Oliver's perky British accent from outside. Dropping back to the tile, she sat on her knees with her head down. Her brown hair hung over her face like a curtain as Oliver walked in. 
          	
          	AJ put both of her hands over her head as she was trained to. More of her salty tears fell to the floor,  "Please, don't." She pleaded in almost a whisper. 
          	
          	"Oh, poppet, whatever is the matter?" He asked in a sickly sweet tone. "Do you need a little reminder of how to use your manners?"
