Yeah, if i ever reboot or write another Percy jackson story, it would be more like that CYOA story.
Where the modern world is made aware of magic and gods, not just Greek & Roman, but Norse, Egyptian and other pantheons.
The geopolitical implications, between different nations & pantheons was interesting to me. And so many different adventures and interesting interactions, plus regular people just adapting to magic being real
