the sun welcomed her with a smile as soon as she step out of her house. she was embraced by the cold wind of december that sends chills on her spine. devana started walking down the streets with a small smile on her face. the sky was painted with light blue, sending positivity to the murians. 'bees came for honey, flowers giggled as they undressed themselves for the taking, the sun smiled' devana thought as 'the second birth by rupi kaur' came into her mind.
the aroma of coffee entered her nostrils, making her fall in love with it. devana was craving for a hot coffee and so, she went to the nearest cafe. the cafe was totally perfect and it suits her interest. the walls were painted with brown, full of coffee and love. the ceiling has its own design as well so that it won't look plain to everyone who visits the cafe.
after ordering her coffee, devana was about to go home but unfortunately, it's raining cats and dogs. she shook her head in dismay. "i have no choice but to stay" devana whispered to herself.
sadly, the cafe is fully packed. her eyes caught this lad who's sitting alone in his place. devana went towards the young man, "is anyone sitting here?" she asked but he replied, "no one's sitting there. you're free to do so and perhaps keep me some company while you're at it."
devana sighed, "sorry but i'm not good at conversations" she said without hesitation.
