            Revealing herself , the vampire couldn’t help but laugh out in child-like excitement , hues of bright auburn igniting in interest as she examined the stranger before her . “That’s my specialty , mon ami — especially when it comes to rabbits as cute as you . . . I could just eat you up .” Her tone was playfully although it held a darkness to it . She was cunning and enjoyed toying with prey before feeding but this one piqued her curiosity a great amount , causing her to drag on the playfulness for a bit longer . “Do you wanna play another game?”

            sylvester tilted his head , more confused than anything else when he heard … giggles. a slight frown tugged at his lips , brows furrowed as he walked slowly and steadily towards the sound. clearly they were making no effort to remain concealed and that put him on edge. his hand drifted towards his weapon as he rounded the corner , feeling the presence of another , making his hair stand up on edge. “ you’re not particularly well hidden ” he murmured his voice low and steady , he didn’t understand but the thrill always intrigued him. it’s what he lived for. he finally spotted her , raising an eyebrow “ well… you know how to make an impression don’t you ? ”

            “ and i’ve told you , beer and some condiments don’t count ” he said an amused smile curling at his lips. he took a bite of the lasagna a satisfied hum leaving his lips “ wow … you really have gone above and beyond. for your first time it’s not bad at all ” he chuckled , enjoying his meal. he would’ve complimented her more but that just wasn’t the dynamic they had , he wouldn’t lie to her and she knew that. that was enough. “ after all the times I’ve cooked for you ? you owe me at least this much ” he snorted “ this is a plus … but no i came here to ask for a favour ” he hummed

            “ well done , you have no idea how proud i am that you finally don’t have a fridge for decoration ” he said teasingly as he pinched her cheeked , quickly moving past her towards the lasagna because he was well aware she would hate that. “ a little char never hurt anyone ” he said not minding in the slightest. a slight smile curled at his lips , he wasn’t sure why it made him happy … the fact that she was actually taking care of herself and cooking but it did. “ i’m gonna help myself ok ..? ” he said although it was less of a question because he was already dishing some out for himself.

            “ i take offence to everything you say in russian because it can’t be anything good ” he said teasingly taking the dishes to the kitchen. he never really took anything she said to heart , whether it was good or bad. “ right and that might’ve contributed to your fucked up sleep schedule ” he pointed out as he walked back into the room raising an eyebrow. “ you can go to the bed using your own two feet or I can carry you there but .. at the end of the day you’re going to end up there ” he said giving her a wave with both hands when she threatened to cut them off a slight smile on his face. “ honestly … I have to threaten you with a good night’s sleep ” he muttered , almost chiding as he flicked her forehead.

            sylvester’s amusement was almost palpable but he didn’t say anything , he only shrugged “ I mean in my free time i play tennis and read. not exactly the pinnacle of excitement you know ” he hummed , he knew the things he did were of no interest to most people and he had no desire to watch anyone pretend for his sake. that would be tedious if anything else. “ like i said we can just go to a restaurant , there’s a new sushi place that seems alright ” he said pressing a finger between her brows “ don’t look so serious , it’s not that big of a deal ” he said almost teasingly.

            “ me ? ” he said raising an eyebrow , a flash of amusement only present for a moment. “ i doubt you’d be a fan of my hobbies. we can just to whatever restaurant you want , it really makes no difference to me. honest ” he said with a slight shrug , it wasn’t what he did in his spare time so he didn’t mind if she decided for them. since she was the one who wanted to try new things , it only seemed right
