Our future is bright I swear! It is never too late to start over, take it from me. Sometimes others touch your life and end up hurting you in unspeakable ways. Sometimes it may take you a while to break free. We can let anger, hate and sadness control our lives and change who we are meant to be; or we can become the person God meant us to be. I think of happy times and dreams I had. That is who I am and Nobody is going to stand in my way anymore. I want to graduate from college, so I went back to school to work towards the degree I have always wanted. I am standing up to the person who abused me and is now trying to hurt me in other ways. I am going to write about what happened to my children and I with hopes that others can learn about domestic abuse. Maybe this will help others to really get to know the person they decide to make a family with. Most importantly, maybe this will educate the public about what they can do if they, or someone they care about find themselves in an unhealthy or abusive relationship.
