Hello! Sorry for going radio-silent for so long; I got caught up doing life stuff and ended up neglecting the official chapters of Breaking Point. Apologies!
But anyway, I've put some thought into it and wanted to say that while I love Breaking Point and the ideas I've come up with for it, I can't say I'm confident enough in my writing skills to make it into the story I really want it to be. Every time I go back and read previous chapters I get this itch to go back to make cohesion and stylistic revisions, or rewrite them entirely. Of course, this means I will return to the story in the future, just after I've gotten some feedback on other stories I have in the works so I know where I can make improvements to my writing. One such story will be coming out with its first chapter after I've written this announcement: The Shooting Star!
It started out as a fully self-indulgent mini-story I wanted to make to get some angst out of my system, but I've decided to use it as an opportunity to gather critique and refine my style a little more so I can write Breaking Point just a little bit better. Please go give Shooting Star a read once it's up, and I'm begging you not to hold back on any critique you might have for it. Seriously, I'm all ears.
But yea! Thank you for your patience and I appreciate that you've stuck around long enough to see this announcement. It really means a lot to me :)
