guess who hasn’t edited tomorrows chapter yet! meeeee!
          honestly, i’ve been caught up in writing the chapter that follows (it’s a blast and i can’t wait to share), making some art and some good old procrastination that i just haven’t gotten to edit chapter 17 yet. it’s a rather emotional one and you all know that i struggle with those, so editing it is very daunting. then there’s the onc deadline approaching and i’m still on the fence about participating or not, so my mind had been a little occupied with that as well.
          if i don’t finish editing in time for tomorrow, i’ll at least update my art book so the quinky fans have something to look at, and i’ll let you know when i’ll post the chapter instead!

Alright, here's a little update on the posting schedule for The Art Of Never Fitting In. I'm pretty proud I managed to keep up a somewhat consistent schedule of posting twice a week for the last two months!
          But with my backlog slowly starting to run out, chapters getting longer (and more serious), and a mysterious creature called "I'm So Sleepy" cutting my productivity short, I decided to finally go from posting twice a week to once a week starting in March. So, there will be two more chapters (plus a potential bonus? ) next week, and then, the week after that, the schedule will be changed to Friday only.
          That'll make it easier for me as a writer as well as potential readers that are trying to catch up :D

@starrylovee hilariously, one of the founders april replied to one of my comments saying their covers are not ai generated, which they straight up lied about because i was able to find the stock image of their book cover....the ai generated stock image that was clearly labeled as ai generated in both the title and pixabay's own ai marker. i even pasted the link to that stock photo in my comment response as proof that april is legit a liar and then in the next few hours they deleted everything LMAO and blocked every person disagreeing with them

@of-wine-and-ecstasy yeah absolutely! tbh this didn't need to be an issue at all, if they'd just responded with 'we used ai covers, our bad, we didn't realize' and then took them down and replaced them. i feel like that wouldve been the best response? like how hard could that have been? and yeah the homophobia caught me so off guard because one of them is queer like ??? how are you working together? also i wonder if people submitting books with gay characters for their "review" process, whatever that might be, would be rejected on the basis of one of them being homophobic? i bet theyd try to justify that in some strange roundabout way as they did their ai use 'well we're not here to talk about homophobia we're here to talk about the wRitTeN wOrD' this was just so crazy, thank you for voicing your truth as well though! it was much appreciated seeing other people speak up with me and @dragonthusiast because this was truly outta pocket
