so uhm wattpad is not banning smut and is now turning to a more conservative platform… right
this app has been built off smut (specifically queer content and things relating to people of colour and different cultures) and they’re getting rid of that..
“oh but they’re not allowing cp or non-con fics” is everyone’s excuse but people are forgetting censorship doesn’t just affect a specific group of people.. it affects EVERYONE, wattpad’s moderation system/algorithm isn’t even moderated by real humans rather ai is doing it.. which is extremely risky and bad because even fics which aren’t exactly vanilla and are SLIGHTLY taboo may get removed for no reason (and they even may get SWATTED, which is crazy)
in conclusion, this is why ao3 is superior ✌️✌️
