"Bonjour Jefferson" the taller male glanced at him with the sweetest of smiles as he put a small piece of curly hair behind his ear while he straighten his clothing a bit, laf seemed quite happy where he could just hug an object harshly though he held a small wine glass in his one hand

Thomas Jefferson glanced to the man's wine - glass that he held in hand, he turned his gaze back towards Marquis de Lafayette, he folded his arms across his chest, providing a small nod, "and bonjour to you, Lafayette," he merely addressed the friend by the surname; as it was one of the first steps to demonstrating respect, he breathed out quietly, as if he had held his breath while speaking in some magical way. He folded his arms behind his chest, examining him carefully, "and what's with such a joyus aura?"

“Good morning Mr. Jefferson, how are you today?” The young Hamilton asked him, smiling softly to herself.

“You - oh,” Thomas Jefferson said nothing or a moment, he glanced down at the ground before he looked back up, “and what exactly have I said?” he asked, tilting his head slightly.

Eliza put her hands in the pocket of her hoodie as she talked in a silvery sort of voice, “I’m fine,” She took a small breath before continuing her statement, “I heard you were talking shit about my pops—”

Thomas Jefferson looked to the younger, shorter Hamilton, he didn't know whether or not he should be struck with any suspicion, so perhaps he wouldn't talk about this, he rubbed the back of his hand, “ah, well, good morning. . .” he inhaled slowly, grasping his hand, “I'm doing - well, how might you be?”

“I do that and I risk my popularity amongst the Southerners, you don't understand the game of politics, you uneducated swine,” Thomas Jefferson quickly blanked out a majority of what the boy had said merely for the favor, “emotional matters and what you care about do not intermix with politics, every move I make is watched by the Press and can easily slip out, not to mention the ordeal and the. . . fact you ever entered this world happened all too long ago to possibly mess me up now, I bring it up and everything falls to bits and the few people who like me fall into the routine of despising me, allow me to dumb it down,” he inhaled sharply, “you have an affair with the likes of a Rich white Woman; persay you're educated elsewhere, perhaps in one of the most discriminating states, you've kept it on the low for years and you finally are alerted that you have created several children of your own blood,“ he claimed, “I lightened it to an affair rather than the likes of what I've had -- anyways, what would you do other than own up and take care of them?” he asked, “no one would want to see you with the daughter of the overseer, this results in days and weeks of harassment for a mere affair that happened years ago,” he folded his arms across his chest. Thomas stared at Eston, “this provides a free pass for your friends, your enemies and your own family a way to possibly insult you, this continues and you figure that you've come down with an unexplainable sadness, best known as depression, you're stuck in this life until natural death, murder or perhaps. . .” the man trailed off, waving his hand at the mention of suicide, “not to mention your own children hate you for hiding in some sort of shame for fucking up once in the thought of children,” he glanced to Eston, "nonetheless, I regret dumbing it down, do me a favor and dismiss yourself and I'll consider growing a heart and perhaps ponder your request."
