Weigh my soul. Tell me of the wrongs I’ve done. Free me of my sins so I may fade away in peace. Do you see these chains I wear? They consume me. They’re every wrong thing I shouldn’t have done. Every link is another worry, another sorrow, another step towards my fate. The inevitable death that awaits us all. Sometimes it doesn’t seem so bad to be bound in these chains, to be solidified in my actions. I don’t fear death. I fear what awaits me.
