          y/n realizes in the end, after all the times that childe has died in their reincarnations, that there was only ever one solution to the problem . y/n erases herself to the point where it was as if she had never existed, deleting her own existence in every timeline including in the past. as scaramouche had said, it was inevitable. 
          
          childe no longer meets a horrible demise in every lifetime, and he never knew that there was a y/n that even existed in the first place.
