Hi Tim,
          
          Thanks for adding THE VISITOR to your reading list. It is my first attempt to write a female lead character. It tells the story of a dynamic female astronaut who finds something unexpected in low-Earth orbit and it goes on to change her life and the world. 
          
          It is hard SF, so descriptive, realistic and this story is set just ten years in the future. Hope you enjoy it.
