I am a widow living in Brimfield, MA with my youngest son.  I have another son who is living with his best friend on the South Shore in Massachusetts.  My husband was only 52 years old when he was killed after being struck by a train at a commuter rail station.  We had been married for almost thirty years and he had been unable to work for the last 29 years of his life because he suffered from bi-polar disorder, PTSD and addiction to drugs and alcohol.
After he died, I lost my job, then my home, then my car and I am now barely surviving on my husband's social security and the kindness of friends and my new church family,  I have always enjoyed writing and have completed a book about my lifetime struggle with my husband's mental illnesses and addiction.
I am also a new Christian and I'm struggling to find a balance between my new faith and my everyday life.
