Part 2 (Awareness in my stories)
Preterm labor – Babies born too early face significant health risks, and parents endure immense stress and uncertainty.
Cervical and uterine stenosis – Conditions that make pregnancy difficult or impossible due to scarring or abnormalities.
Asherman’s syndrome & scar tissue from trauma – The effects of past medical procedures or injuries can prevent someone from carrying a pregnancy.
Rape, sexual assault, and physical assault – Survivors who become pregnant due to violence face unimaginable challenges, and their trauma is often dismissed.
These are just some of the struggles that people face every day. Many suffer in silence, afraid to speak out because of stigma or lack of support. By writing about these experiences, I hope to start conversations, spread awareness, and remind those affected that they are not alone.
Pregnancy is not always a happy journey—sometimes, it’s one of loss, pain, and survival. Let’s acknowledge these realities and support those who need it most.
