I am seriously at loss of words dear Oluna. I know it's your story, your choice and your way of writing but I genuinely as a reader who has seen the depth of this story. I seriously hate that his ending is going to be like this. As a reader, who doesn't want a happy ending for someone you have only seen suffer and suffer every single day? Even in the hands of Charlie Grayson has suffered, even when he was rescued and taken by his uncles he has suffered. All his life Grayson has suffered trauma both physically and mentally. Even when he received love and support from his uncles, cousins, friends, nanny and lover. Grayson still couldn't somehow escape from the scars that were already printed on him. And even now he is still like a shell which is hollow from the inside. As if he is living on the instincts only. I know Grayson would have died if he wasn't rescued and it's still a blessing that he even survived this long but still dear whenever I see Grayson i can only remember the kid that has suffered for what he never deserved. That's why I want to be selfish for his happiness. I genuinely want him to be happy from the inside. But what I can still feel is his fear of losing the people he cared about and the loneliness. Even that Reckless teenage Grayson was good as long as he was expressive about his frustration and anger but this version of Grayson who is just suppressing everything is so heartbreaking for me. Really so heartbreaking.
