Hey, I read you are a fine arts student and I'm thinking of joining it's institution too but I'm confused. I would really love it if you can tell me how it is and what career options it carries. I know it's not related to books and is so random but I would really be glad if you can give me an insight:)

@ominous_ Hey, thank you soooo much for this. You've really helped me clear my doubts about it. And sorry for the delay in replying.

Major in advertising does take almost everything art related. I really like your university. It allows you to use all kinds of mediums which I believe is a good way of broadening ones knowledge. It must be hard with so much work but then again, as you said, if one loves her job then comprise seems nothing.

This major indeed sounds wonderful. I'm thinking of it now! Well, congratulations on your internship and I'm happy you got your dream job. Working for a film production does sound great.

Thank you so so so very much!! I'm glad you took your time and answered it and best of luck with your job. I hope you reach big heights. Love you! :)

@KRosalle Hiii! Well it really depends on what you're planning to major in. I study Fine Arts: Major in Advertising. Mine kind of focuses on..basically everything art related nowadays. We have a lot of classes and we don't necessarily stick to one medium, like for example when I was a freshman, we did a lot of traditional art but now that we're close to graduating, it's evolved to a lot more digital-ish platforms. Not sure if it only happens to our university, but we have a lot of strict professors who'd give you a sh*t ton of work that's all due in a week! And imagine, we have 8 classes..sometimes even more. So when they give us work, it's usually all at once and it also means less sleep.

I do think that it's a wonderful major. You'd get used to it as you go along. As long as you love what you're doing, sacrificing a lot of your free time shouldn't be a hard thing to do. It really depends on your priorities sometimes.

In terms of career, I'll have to say that's up to what you major in. Since I major in Advertising and we basically cover up almost everything (from trad art, digital, a bit of marketing, film and other stuff too) I have the privilege to choose from a lot of career options. Right now we're required to apply for a job for internship and I got accepted into a film production, which has been my dream since I was a kid.

Overall the decision really rests on you, guuurl ;) But whatever it is you decide, I do wish you the best of luck in the future! :)
