            *  achilles shut his eyes and he tried his best to remember all of the things the male, his companion, told him. about his father and his mother. it was just so hard. but there were bits and pieces of the memories. hesitating, he lifted a dirty and decaying hand with some of the bones revealed, putting it to the others cheek gently. he touched him for a moment then pulled his hand away and looked down.  *  Compan.. Companion...  *  he uttered now, his voice working a bit for a moment. his eyes were sunken but held a slight bit of warmth.  *

* he smiles and gently squeezes their fingers together ,  his touch nothing short of tender and careful as he does so *
            you chose me as your companion ,  you know .  your father was confused considering you had dismissed so many others ,  and i was this quite strange and awkward boy who had arrived not too long ago . .  and your mother disapproved .  she said i was unworthy considering i was mortal . .  and i supposed i looked somewhat weak .
            * he smiles up at him and towards their closer proximity ,  his smile only growing fondly from the memories spilling from his lips *

            *  for a brief moment, achilles remembered something from their past and he nodded, holding his hand just a bit tighter. he almost smiled, too. almost.  *  'I... In... Insep.. arable...'  *  he nodded slowly then mindlessly allowed himself to step closer to patroclus  *

            *  the living corpse blinked in confusion then reached up to touch his hair, pulling some out easily. blinking again, he dropped the hair.  *  'Fall... Fall.. Falling..?'

            *  achilles looked into the others pale eyes with his own that were no longer the bright emerald color they used to be. his hair was not the color it used to be, either. it was almost impossible to tell he was even achilles. he wanted to move even closer. he wanted to... to put his arms around the spirit. he had the urge to be closer but he didn't make any more movements towards patroclus. he didn't know a lot but he knew he was disgusting and he didn't want to make the much prettier of the two dirty. he frowned and shook his head, looking down at himself.  *  'No... Remember..'  *  he shook his head again. his brain was deteriorating and his thoughts and memories were left muddled and fuzzy.  *

            * patroclus only gazes at the other before him — his achilles .  his love ,  his world ,  his world . .  so close .  so ,  so close — with affection and concern heavy within his pale hues *  yes . .  that’s right .  * his head slowly nods in confirmation towards the quiet sound of achilles’ voice ,  closely listening to the word that left his lips .  silver once again gleams in his eyes at the all – too familiar way achilles mouths his name .  at the way he used to say his name ;  all syllables pronounced ,  his name fulling from his mouth clearly *  yes .  pat – ro – clus .  * he once again nods as his name is mouthed ,  offering up a slightly small and tentative smile up at the other as he steps closer .  not once does his gaze leave the other’s as he holds their eye contact *

            *  achilles looked down at the ground and swallowed, what could be labeled as a sad look in his eyes. he wished he could remember more about patroclus but only very small bits and pieces of memories were in his head.  *  Dead . . .  *  he managed to actually say the word this time and his voice was very scratchy and hard to hear.  *  'Patroclus... Pat.. ro.. clus..'  *  he mouthed as he looked back into the spirits eyes, taking a shuttering breath as he stepped closer  *

            *  achilles looked down at his rotting, decaying body and swallowed thickly. he didn't remember his name so he shook his head slowly.  *

* the female closely watches his lips ,  her frown not ceasing to wrinkle her brow *

            *  since the man could not speak, he could only mouth the words he wanted to say  *  'P-Pain..? N... No.. pain...'

( not as great as yours , tbh. also , this idea is really cool ? poor achilles tho , I can imagine that it sucks being a living corpse.
