POLITICAL POST !! : as ive gotten older ive grown accustomed to the different types of politics. from some of my relatives being extremely right, the others left--ive found myself always questioning what i stand for. but never once did i ever question my constitutional rights. with this new tiktok ban we are losing our freedom of speech. i don't like using platforms to voice my opinion on matters like this as it isn't necessary but in this case it is. we need to wake up--come together as a nation and stand up for ourselves. it doesn't matter what side you're on, who you like more, or what color you stand for, we are all people of a country that is slowly slipping from our grasp. where will we be in 10 years from now? 20? it's a scary thing to think about and it's easier to push it aside but stuff like this, you have to jump the gun. i do not have a large following on here but if you are seeing this i hope that this gave you some insight on what's going on and that we should be thinking in advance. i encourage you to educate yourselves and look into the people we have representing our voices. if you are in canada--please vote! please educate yourself for this upcoming election in october. we get one world, one life, why spend it in fear?

to my wonderful readers of TORN APART,

first, thank you. thank you for every comment, every follow, every vote, and for all the love you’ve poured into this story. it’s been a journey—one i never expected to take—and you’ve been there every step of the way. isa will always hold a special place in my heart. she’s a part of me, and a part of this page. she’s been through so much, and in a way, she’s helped me through a lot too.

this book was my first leap into writing, and it’s been an incredible ride. but, as with all things, my focus has shifted. i’m onto other projects both on here and in my personal life, and it wouldn’t be fair to you—the amazing community that’s supported me—to leave this story hanging without a proper conclusion. i hope isa’s journey feels complete for now, even if it’s a bit bittersweet. and just know, there’s always room for her to return in the future.

for those of you waiting on requiem for the accused—it’s not gone, just paused. salem deserves the care and attention i once poured into her and carl's story, and i’ll get back to it when the time feels right. i want to fall in love with writing these stories again, the way i once did.

in the meantime, i’ve been working on my ongoing book, violent delights, which has truly reignited my passion for storytelling. it’s been refreshing, and i hope some of you might enjoy it too.

to every single one of you—whether you’ve been here from the beginning or joined along the way—thank you. your support means the world to me. i’m sorry to end isa’s story so abruptly, but it’s not goodbye forever. it’s just goodbye for now.

          with love and gratitude,
          oneertaxea

POLITICAL POST : i am not one for politics but after everything that has happened in the last two days, i just wanted to say how sad and disappointed i am in my country. i wish everyone the best with this new term and remember the fight for equality isn't over. we will come together again and rise stronger in the 2028 election. i know it can be scary, but remember you are in charge of you and no one can take your power away, even if laws are passed or rights are cut. stay strong and stand up for your beliefs. you are strong and CAN do it.
