Hello everyone!
I know that I haven't been active on Wattpad for a very long time. The truth is, high school has been very chaotic and stressful. So, in spirit of Christmas and New Years, I thought I'd share some exciting news!
Ever since I first discovered how/why books are printed, circulated, and sold, I've wanted to publish and book of my own. I've always known that it's a long shot, but, now, I might have opportunity.
Recently, I've been told that my books of poems, 10 Thousand Words from a Teen, might be a good book to self-publish. I've been collecting the best poems from my collection and have been editing them and writing new ones. I know that it might take a long time for anything official to happen, but I've started looking into it. If I ever did self-publish my book, it could be sold at my aunt's book store.
This is why I'm asking you all for help! I would totally love for any one of you guys to comment on my poems and give tips or advice about them: changes I could make, which ones to chuck, which ones to keep. I really hope you will help make my dream a reality!
I know that this message is getting kind of long, but this part is very important. Jason Gray, a well known sketch comic from Utah, has a one-year-old daughter named Alice Gray. Recently, Alice had a life-threatening brain aneurysm. She underwent brain surgery, but is still in the hospital. Her rehab and therapy medical bills are so high that her parents are having trouble paying for her therapy. If Alice does not get this therapy, she may die. So her parents are reaching out to the public for help. I would love it if you could visit the link below and donate even just 5$ to help save Alice, or just relay this message to a friend.
