Hi! I have an important question haha, it's about the writing contest; can I still be a judge even though I'm competing?? If not, I withdraw myself as a judge but I'll still love to participate! :)

          But why r u interested in only one shot stories? Is there any market for singular short stories? I mean I have read quite a few 'collections' of short stories [Chicken soup for the Soul being one of them ] but I have not heard of single short stories being published, other than in magazines.
          I have a couple of short stories here on this site that have received some good reviews, from writers worth their salt as well, not just from teenagers going Awesome every now and then !
          I can send them for your review !  ;-D

You can't stop the imagination. and it would be bad if you did, so no worries. =)
          I'd really like you to enter - and I'd also really like to read your story, but with so much going on in school and all the other entries to read, I'm afraid I wouldn't be able to keep up with it. That's why I made a short-story contest in the first place. I really wanted to make a contest for people that deserve to get more known, that won't be judged by "popularity", but I knew from the start that if I would have to read over 50 pages or something for EVERY entry + comment and judge  - it would end no good for me and the contestants. 
          
          I'm really sorry....maybe you really will be able to create something shorter. Good luck anyway!

          As for your question: The rules say no more then ten - because after all, it is a SHORT-story contest, but it depends....how much more than ten?
