Liam Payne was genuinely one of the only reasons i am alive right now. He saved so many people and was loved by so many. Rip liam, we will never forget you.
While being on the topic of liams death though, it is important to talk about the situation with maya. Liams death is in no way Mayas fault and Liam shouldn’t be idolized just because he is dead. Liam was human and humans make mistakes. Liams mistakes just happened to be significantly more severe than most cases.
LIAM PAYNE WAS AN ABUSER. Him being dead doesn’t make that any less true. He didn’t deserve to die of course, he just needed help that he didn’t know how to ask for. Invalidating Mayas story and blaming her for Liams death is something that should not be happening. We can mourn Liam while still supporting Maya.
I am again in no way saying that Liams deserved to die. He deserved to live and get help and be able to have a happy life. But Maya also deserves all of that. PLEASE DO NOT SEND HER HATE THIS IS NOT HER FAULT!
We can mourn the person Liam was and still admit he was a bad person. There is absolutely nothing wrong with being upset about his death, he was a life source for many of us and this news is devastating. I understand that, i am devastated by this news, but treating him as though he were an angel and not an abuser is WRONG
i understand this was a lot of rambling and you may not agree with every point made, but please as you go on mourning Liam - which is a completely valid thing to do - do not forget about everything he has done.
The dead are not perfect just because they are dead.
