          i hope everyone had a great spring break!

to anyone;
          my heart hurts for all the victims of the Florida tragedy, and everyone who has ever been involved in such horror. i'm here if anyone would like to talk, and i also am notifying you that threats were made at my school and are said to be taking place tomorrow. obviously, i won't be attending now that i know about it. i want to share with everyone how it feels to be in similar situations, the terror it causes that makes your blood run cold, how you find yourself staring at the door to your class and wondering whether it would hold against an attack, and how it makes you want to just lock yourself in a windowless room made of steel with the people you love. that is the gravity of today's schools, and as sad as it is that i must say this, i am asking all of you to please stay safe. notify those who can take action if any type of threat, even if it seems like a joke, is made. it's not a joke. it's not funny. people lose their lives because the threat seemed ridiculous and flimsy. a threat is a threat, and i don't want anyone to go through something so horrible when they had the power to speak up and prevent it.
          if i alarmed anyone, i'm sorry, this was meant to be informative and please know that i am okay.
          so stay calm, stay alert, and please, please please please, stay safe.
