@vellimxlxre omg literally. like the husband sometimes SA the wife and over time the woman gets Stockholm syndrome and they get their cliched and disgusting happy ending.

@britneyspearsswifey frrrr, like being mean and cold to your spouse as part of the plot is one thing- that's fine ig but it's when they start romanticising straight up physical abuse and mental trauma in the book for some shitty reason, that's where i draw the line. Plus it's so overused at this point too lol ¦/

i used to love reading that kind of stories and now looking back it's so toxic and frankly disgusting
