The law about abortion is unconstitutional. It goes against the 9th and 14th Amendments. The 9th amendment is, "The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people." or to put it simply, The Ninth Amendment of the United States Constitution states that the federal government doesn't own the rights that are not listed in the Constitution, but instead, they belong to citizens. The 14th amendment is, "All persons born or naturalized in the United States and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws." And to put that simply, The Fourteenth Amendment is an amendment to the United States Constitution that was adopted in 1868. It granted citizenship and equal civil and legal rights to African Americans and enslaved people who had been emancipated after the American Civil War.
