opinion on books written in 1st person?
2nd person < 1st person > 3rd person
1st is a banger unless if it’s written badly lmao. Make an interesting character with interesting thoughts and I eat it up
Happy 2024 and I wish you the best year ahead. I wanted to make a small announcement to anyone still on this app or anyone who cares to listen. As I grow older my time isn't endless and fanfiction isn't something I have been interested in in years. But writing is still my comfort place. One thing the routine if the past few years has destroyed for me is my personal productivity. Many attempts were made to write things, most failed. I think I have been writing the wrong things, tried too hard and words simply wouldn't flow the way I wished for them to do so. I thank you for all the support you ever gave me, but I don't think I will ever be back on this app. I have improved tremendously and I know that, but when the time is write I will see whether this app is the correct platform for me to show my work off. When the time is write I will decide.

It just hit me we are so close to 100k...
Okay so I know we post things here and we get exposure either good or bad, but being respectful to writers and not creating nasty reading lists or commenting mean words should be a given. Vice versa as well, but lets create a space where people feel good and comfortable to write without being hurtful and pinpointing every mistake. Commentary should be written to help not to hate.
