hello! it’s recently come to my attention that there is an author who has taken my story “Found” and copied it for their own profile. it’s called “a second chance” by @/thenovaks. i dmed them and asked them politely to take it down, and they blocked me. it would be really helpful if someone could please report the story! it’s really frustrating to see what you’ve worked really hard on being copied, so if you could take just a minute of your day to help me out, that would be amazing! thank you! <3 

I’m so sorry for the disappearance recently. I had to get tested for covid (negative btw) and it turns out my dad has cancer and is starting chemotherapy :))
          
          ANYWAYS DISREGARDING ALL THAT NEW TRAUMA I HAVE CHOSEN TO MAKE A DRASTIC DECISION AND RENAMED OONA AS ANNABELLE :)))
          
          I was trying to write the first kiss scene for later on and I got so uncomfortable that I literally could not write a single sentence. I was looking desperately for a name and chose Annabelle because one of the nurses at the hospital was named that, and she really helped with my dad. She looked EXACTLY like how I pictured Oona in my head, so I had such an immediate attachment to the name. And who knows, maybe we can have another weird thing with the nickname “Anna” like my obsession with Ellie’s nicknames in ‘Found.’
          
          Also I’m super sorry for the delay on The Lost Heir; it’s been really hard with this chapter regardless of all the other stuff going on. I’m not asking for any condolences or anything like that, I’m just trying to let you guys know and make it clear that I haven’t quit on the book or Wattpad as whole.

Heeellloooo! I just want to say how amazing your story 'Found' is but I think that someone is taking your writing and claiming it as their own (the book is called 'A second chance') they have changed a few things to make it look like their own but someone else commented on it saying that it was the same as yours. I recognised it as well and was really confused. I can't remember the user name but can either dm you it put it here. It is under the hashtag # thirteenreasonswhyxreader and was at number six out of seven last time I checked. I'm so sorry for the long message and hope that this has informed you of it. I know how annoying and upsetting it is when people steal others work. Hope that you are doing well and are safe
