and i rarely post on here or post about things like this, but jesus, why are people still like this..? how many times to POC and minorities have to tell you that slurs, even if they’re linguistic reappropriation, reclamation, or resignification, made BY THOSE GROUPS THEMSELVES, aren’t funny or even right to be said by you!

this user@pearlescennnn uses racial slurs in her stories and claims they’re not inherently racial because she means it in a “funny way” as a nonblack person. after I asked her race she claimed “nope, i'm not. if ur thinking about it because of what kind of language and cursing silas (my character) is using aka the „n" word, i'm only using it for his humour, not for racism.” It’s literally 2026  people, get your incompetent racist selves some education since you think slurs towards black people can be used in “non-racist” ways by people who look nothing like them and who’ll never have to deal with the aftermaths of what racism and that word does to some of the community.
