Today we remember the deaths of three great leaders of thought, sadly, and all for different reasons, were called to their eternal home on this date in 1963. Aldous Huxley (who we may call nothing short of a prophet in the order of Nostradamus ), C.S. Lewis (the great spiritual writer of fantasies in truth), and John Fitzgerald Kennedy (a leader of democracy, peace and compassion). As a Protestant, I do not believe in Purgatory. But if these three did meet in such a place, I am certain the Great Conversation is still going on today, 53 years later. And what a joy it would be to listen in!

Today is the 150th birthday of HG Wells. A happy birthday to this man, probably the biggest inspiration for my aspiration to write. It is ineffably fitting that he wanted to have "I told you so. You damned fools," written on his gravestone. He was, however, cremated. What a monument it might have been. A Sphinx for our world of imagination.

Hey, I was following your thread and was encouraged by you sharing your faith. It's rare to see a Sci-Fi author bringing in their Christian faith. You seem like a very intelligent and bold author. I look forward to exploring your work

Hey, I just posted a thread in the "Improve Your Writing" club entitled "Any Interest?" You seem like a very intelligent person, and very well read. I would love your input if you have the time. It is for the Fantasy book that I hope to publish, so I am very eager for good advice before I go into the edits next month.

Happy New Year's Eve Eve everybody, and very shortly, you can be expecting to read the first parts of my new "More Weary than Light." I have been quite excited working on this, and I hope you all are looking forward to it! So be sure and, when anybody asks for recommendations, tell 'em about this pleasing piece of work here. (...Was I overselling? lol!) :)

If any of you enjoyed my recent story, submitted as an entry to a recent SciFi account competition, "More Weary than Light," than you will be pleased to hear I have decided to build a novel out of it. I was very pleased with this inspiration, and I look forward to elaborating on the complex metaphor I left at the end. :)
