thanks all for the 400 views on my story. i’ve been very vocal about how much I admire y'alls work and secretly wondered if i’d ever have the guts to put something of my own out there.
It feels both an honor (and humbling, most of the time) to be writing about kristen, and really rewarding to know some of you are also pfaff enthusiasts who’ve been yearning for something on her (and ofc, the forever kurt bonding we all share)

Okay so I rewrote Chapter 1 lol. I’m deep diving into Kristen and still figuring this whole thing out.
It’s hard to portray someone so complex without flattening her, and I don’t want this to turn into just historically accurate bullet points. I’m trying to learn as much as I can about her while still keeping the flow and creativity alive.
This story is really just my way of honoring her. Kristen was iconic in ways that don’t always get fully acknowledged. She spoke up. She was an activist. She carried herself with intensity and independence. I don’t think she ever really got the time to fully express her message, but maybe her message was the way she lived.
I just want to capture even a small fraction of that energy.
