Happy New Year, Elixirs! I know this year was not just tough for me, but for you too. I remember hoping for 2024 to be gentler, but instead, it made me tougher. Truly, it wasn't the best, but I’d be looking back, happy, on the days you shared with me. 
          	
          	I didn't expect to be writing up to this day nor welcoming another year as Maii. Please know that you’d been one of the reasons why I’m still here. Thank you. It warms my heart to see a lot of familiar names as well as new people who have shown love for me and my crafts. Thank you for celebrating my small achievements. Thank you for supporting me with my first-ever published book. Thank you for being part of my 2024.
          	
          	2025 is a big question mark as of now, but whatever might unfold next, let’s face it all together, hopeful and courageous. May we leave the heavy barrels behind, unload our hearts, collect our pieces again, and greet this year with the hope that it’ll be—if not best—better.
          	
          	I’m proud of you for making it here. You were strong and brave for holding on. You are dearly loved.

Ate Maii, hindi ko po ma-explain kung gaano ako napapasaya ng mga stories niyo. Sa tuwing binabasa ko po ang mga ito (except sa Suarez’s kasi start me bukas), pakiramdam ko po ay nabubuo ako. I love the way kung paano niyo po shina-share ang mga wisdom na talagang nakakapagpamulat at sobrang nakakarelate ako. 
          
          Kaya po pala marami ang nagmamahal sa inyo, dahil makikita naman sa paraan ng pagsusulat niyo (yung bawat letters and words na tagos sa puso) at pag-interact bilang tao. Napakabuti niyo po as a person, I know that. :))
          
          I hope you stay like this, Ate Maii. Sana po hindi kayo mapagod sa pag-share ng iyong knowledge sa amin, dahil big help so much, parang sinasagip niyo ako mula sa lungkot at pagkalunod sa mga battles. Love na love po kita!
