Sonia found herself leaning against a cold railing outside, the railing of a balcony. She stared at the ground below. It wasn't far away, only a few feet.. The garden close by seemed dry. Perhaps she would water it soon. She brought her attention to the taller standing beside her, one of her own hands reaching over hesitantly, only to set itself atop of his.
It had been a party.. The night was spent laughing, sharing stories... The whole fun. All of it had been a going-away party for the Princess, who was fully aware of what was to come. Eventually she would leave, her time to bestow herself upon the throne of Novoselic's Kingdom was coming, and quickly. So it was her goal to spend as much time with those she held so dearly before her departure.
She softly gripped the other's hand, taking a rather deep breath before speaking up.
"So you really will not go, will you.."

Sonia didn't know what to say. Everything had been going so well up until about two hours ago. She had asked him to stand by her side for the event. It was obvious what the answer had been. She brushed her thumb against the side of his hand slowly. "Quite ironic, don't you think?" Sonia suddenly questioned, glancing up at Gundham. "One of the most important days and I won't even see you.."
