I took Hey Jude down because I wasn't planning on updating it any time soon and I figured nobody was really reading it at this point, but a few people have asked about it since, so I guess some people were reading it. So now I'm putting it back up. Still don't expect me to actually update it, though.

overlordpotatoe

@MeSoups It seems like Wattpad has been baiting a lot of people into reading it since I reposted it. Those poor souls...

I clicked on it by accident when the app glitched on me. I think it must have popped up in suggestions when you reloaded it since I am a follower. Read the first few paragraphs and was hooked. I’m only part way through but I will keep it in my “waiting for updates” reading list.

I read it and really liked it so I added it to my library so I’d get a notification if it ever updated. I’m kind of used to having things in my library that haven’t updated in years just in case and when they do update I do an entire re-read

overlordpotatoe

@_ethereal_violet Wattpad took it down because I guess the themes were a bit too much for them. It's still on AO3 and Tapas.

Hello author. Are you going to complete the story now that it's back up?

Hi! I love your writing! Never doubt your talent as a writer! Do you plan to finish "Does it matter" on Tapas? Please don't feel pressured. It's just a fan's curiosity...
(and forgive any grammatical errors. English is not my first language)

overlordpotatoe

@mambht Thank you! I do eventually, but it's such a long and complicated story that that it's difficult to slip back into. Your grammar is perfect, by the way!

I continue to add to my weird It Takes Two/A Wall Between crossover. How much further will I go with it? Who knows. But for now, there is more than there was last time I linked it: https://docs.google.com/document/d/13aLAe-t1j0r7XI9ktRZXruNdTF9-hxV-atJkW_EGBuA/edit?tab=t.0

I've been enjoying seeing people pop in and out of the document. You're allowed to leave comments on it, by the way.

overlordpotatoe

@Ammy2021story No, this one's just going to be from Adam's POV. It's mostly a story of his struggles, really. Mason's mostly just sitting at home working or chilling through all this.

What happened to hey Jude :(

overlordpotatoe

@justmelolllllll I unpublished it because I couldn't see myself updating it any time soon and I figured probably nobody was really reading it, but a few people have asked about it since so I guess some people were reading it after all. Maybe I'll put it back. Unfortunately they have a single button to unpublish the whole thing, but it seems like if you want to put it back you have to go one chapter at a time.

This was the inspiration for the tree Rue climbed to get the dragon fruit cutting. This one's growing so well you wouldn't be able to climb the tree it's on, and you also wouldn't need to because you can grab a piece from the ground. There's also not so much of a deadly fall below. But not everyone's familiar with dragon fruit and how they grow, so here's a visual aid for you.

Ammy2021story

@overlordpotatoe ohhhh very interesting, thank you for explaining all this to me. I never know much about dragon fruits, heck I learned that they existed a few years ago

overlordpotatoe

@Ammy2021story I don't know the full history of their cultivation, but they were originally from South America. My impression is that a lot of the crossbreeding that's been done to create different varieties has been fairly recent. It is a bit of a tangled mess, though, with some varieties ending up being sold under multiple different names.

Ammy2021story

@overlordpotatoe that's very cool !!!! and very interesting I wonder if it's a story like with the apples. Like who first thought to breed them, was it a single person or a group of people? Do you know where they were first grown ?

Okay, so, I wrote a few chapters of a crossover between A Wall Between and It Takes Two because crossovers make me feel powerful. It's mostly unedited and I'll probably never finish it, but I think there are probably at least a few people who'd get a kick out of it anyway. @pick2libros We'll have to see, I guess! There was more interest than I expected. I guess most of the people who usually comment are the same people who read enough of my stuff to know what's going on here.

I tend to mostly be a ghost on Wattpad as I am way too in my own head to be comfortable commenting… especially as I mostly go for books that have already been completed (I’ve been burned to many times to trust that ongoing ones won’t be dropped suddenly) but also because my brain is an entire anxiety filled alphabet soup of undiagnosed neurodivergence… but I feel compelled to tell you that as I slowly make my way through reading everything you’ve written here there isn’t a single one of your books that hasn’t made me both cry and laugh actually out loud which I don’t do too often. You have a way of describing feelings I have a difficult time putting into words and I wanted to thank you because it helps me feel a little less alone, and invisible <3

overlordpotatoe

@librangodess Thank you, that means a lot! Comments like this help me feel less alone, too. I definitely understand not being much of a commenter. I'm not very good at it myself. Even when it comes to replying to comments, often the words just won't come, even though I'd very much like to have something to say! I envy people that skill comes naturally to.
