          Mary Jane Brooks was done with love, and she was done with boys.
          
          She had given her whole heart to someone, someone she thought she knew, when they actually turned out to be a horrible person. It resulted in the messiest breakup of her entire life, and Mary Jane was left feeling heartbroken, lost, and incredibly fucking stupid. She couldn't stay in LA anymore, not with him there. So she packed up all of her stuff and flew back home to North Carolina, not really knowing what to do next or how to move forwards.
