i know what you mean, writing can be difficult that way. i guess the best place to start would be to know the setting of your story. is it set during a specific harry potter book? or is it set in an alternate universe? the next step would be identifying your characters (if you choose to have any original ones, that is). i'd be more than happy to help you out if you have any ideas pertaining to your story. @alchemys
