@paddycarr It's funny you should ask, because when the story was in my head, before I started writing it, I always envisioned it as really dark and gritty. What came out when I put pen to paper was more farcical and banter-driven. Not so much in the first few chapters (during which the story was going through a bit of an identity crisis), but definitely from about Chapter 4 onward.
All that said, there should be enough tragic deaths and cosmic injustices to tide people over.
