this is kinda random but one of my absolute favourite things to see in a book or movie is when the main character has a main character moment. like in the lightning thief when everyone gets on their knees because percy has a glowing trident over his head, or in the inheritance games when avery doesn't even know the guy who died but still earns most of the money from his will. i just eat it up i swear. i was watching top gun maverack last week and when mav completes the 'impossible' training course solo, which is 3 WHOLE PEOPLE LESS THAN IS NECESSARY FOR THE MISSION, and 15 SECONDS QUICKER THAN THE NECESSARY TIME... omgggg my brain was so satisfied like i don't know how to explain it.

i have formal this year (in november anyways) but everyone's already thinking about dresses and things, my mum, my sister and I went to a shop today and i literally found the dress of my dreams i kid you not. i was thinking for forever that I wanted my formal dress to be a dusty grey/blue kinda colour, with a nice neckline, and the first dress that caught my eye at the shop was the one i walked out with. I'M SO HAPPY. I'm gonna make a story to show you because i feel like it needs appreciation
