I am actually working right now but I suddenly started missing him terribly because we live far away from each other, now. So I wrote another poem during my break.

Happy Valentine's day, loves!! 

ANOTHER ONE FOR YOU BESTIEEE~
          
          BRO SAYS HE'S ROMANTIC AHDHSHSHSGHHH
          
          Alright, after the whole prom thing I was  playfully teasing him, saying that I thought that HE was the most unromantic person I knew cuz he tried to make a move on someone a while back and failed miserably but it turns out another guy beat him to it when he tried to flirt with my friend. He got offended and was like "Oh yeah? You think I'm the most 'unromantic-est' person you know? You sure?" Lmaooo And we started bickering back and forth.
          
          But then, out of nowhere, he blurted out, "Well, then what about your birthday surprise?  With that cake? I planned the whole thing for it to be perfectly romantic. Was it not? If that's not romantic, then idk what is."  
          
          HONESTLY, I just went silent for a good few seconds. Ngl it WAS romantic, especially since it happened in a park at sunset. He came up from behind and surprised me with a cake while my friends were distracting me. 
          
          He was sweating and  all out of breath cuz he was running to catch up with us with the  PRETTIEST cake in his hands while being sneaky so that I wouldn't see him lmaoooo. Then a random photographer came up to us and offered to take pictures of us for free!! Then we went on a walk together, leaving our friends behind :")) talking and playing around like little kids in love. 
          
          
          After he said all that, all I  mustered up was a pathetic"huh?" ಥ⁠‿⁠ಥ
          He tried to cover up so badly. I heard him stuttering and making up excuses. After that, we just remained in awkward silence for a good minute ☠️ and continued talking as if he didn't just say that. 
          
          
          Please tell me I'm not being delulu and he didn't just say that platonically. ༎ຶ⁠‿⁠༎ຶ

HE JUST ASKED ME OUT FOR PROM AAHHHHH!!!!!(indirectly tho)
          
          Story time~~ :
          
          We were on a phone call, right? And he says, "I have some news for you. It's not that interesting, but listen anyway.' And I'm like, 'Yeah?' And he goes, 'So there's gonna be this prom celebration next May in [place name], and it's gonna be all aesthetic with a Victorian era theme. I really wanna go.' 
          
          Then he sends me some pictures of the prom invitation posters and tells me about the fees. 
          
          HERE'S THE DEAL : If he goes alone, it's cheaper. But then he shows me the 'couple' package, which costs double, and he's like, 'Do you wanna go to prom with me? I mean, I want someone to go with me, so...' And he keeps talking about how it saves money to go as a couple (even though the per-person price is actually half the couple price, lmaooo).
          
          Unfortunately, I couldn't agree because my parents are strict, and they won't let me go out with anyone. But it's okay, he knows my parents so he understands. We talked for almost three hours, SHSJSJSKSJSSJSHSJK
          
          "I really wanna go with you,"
          "Go to the prom with me?"
          "I wanna be with you,"
          "I'll wait for you."
          "I don't wanna be there without you"
          
          Oh my gosh, I was weak in the knees, blushing, and giggling. THIS IS SOOOO NOT MEEEE
          
          "Can't you convince your parents? Tell them it's just me,"
          
          Idk but something about him saying that is just- very intimate? Idk how to word it. He knows my parents trust me with him. He KNOWSSSSSS!!  I'M STILL BLUSHING THINKING ABOUT IT AHHHHHHHHHH
          
          JUST ASK ME OUT ALREADY, GODDAMN!!
