Today marks the 3rd year since I and @-Ankitaa started writing this book. When we first began, all we had was a single scene playing in our heads—just a small moment that felt too vivid to ignore. Ironically, that very scene isn’t even part of the plot anymore. But from that tiny spark, the story grew into something much bigger than we imagined. What started off as a fun idea slowly turned into an emotional rollercoaster, filled with love, betrayal, wars, and more than a few massacres. Of course, a lot is still subject to change (as always), but this journey has shaped not just the story, but us too. And there’s something a little poetic about today too—because after all this time, we’ve finally reached the part where Anandi meets her love interest. It’s a moment we teased years ago on this exact date, back when it was just a scribble in our notes. To see it come alive now, in its own way, with all the weight and wonder it deserves, feels surreal.
