I know I'm two weeks late, but Chapter 2 is LIVE! I made it a much longer chapter than I originally planned to make it up to you guys! Lots of fun things happening in this one to start Eirwen on a pretty crazy journey.

October is getting closer... which means that it's time for the new story to begin.
          
          I appreciate all of your patience as I've worked on this project. I hope that you won't be disappointed with the changes I've made. Trust me, they're going to make for an even better story.
          
          I've taken down the last draft and created a new one. Add it to your reading lists and please share it with your friends! This is going to be big. 
          
          I'm already so happy with what I've come up with so far.

So I have good news and bad news. 
          
          The good news is, I spent a good portion of last weekend discussing the entire plot of this story with a trusted friend and writing mentor of mine. Turns out there are a lot of cool changes that need to happen, especially in the beginning, to help the rest of the story make sense! I've been writing a new outline this week, which means there is now more backstory, new chapters that need to be written, some chapters need to be rewritten or go completely, and that a certain character may not die after all...
          
          But the bad news is that I need to rewrite a bunch of stuff and add new chapters in. I knew it was a risk to put chapters out on Wattpad, because sometimes when you write, things need to change mid-writing (JK Rowling had to rewrite the entire first draft of Harry Potter because she realized she gave her whole plot away in the first book). BUT if it wasn't for you guys reading it, I wouldn't have gotten this far or have had these questions come up about the plot. 
          
          I'm debating on whether I should start from scratch or not once things are ready. Would love to hear your guys' opinion (except for the opinion that I should not rewrite, because honestly, it'll be a better story if I do, and that's what matters to me). I can leave this version up as a first draft and then add the new story later. Dunno. Let me know what you think if you care to be heard.
          
          Thanks for following along so far! I am afraid to make any promises of when new chapters will be out, but I WANT to say October. Sorry that I'm a bit of a slow goer... 
          
          You guys have been awesome to me, so I appreciate all of your support. I hope that the disappointment will be worth it in the end. I can't wait for you guys to get your hands on this story.

So I'm sort of caught up on all the chapters I had worked on during my hiatus, and since my summer has been busy, I haven't had a chance to write more chapters. I'm bumping the Chapter 16 for two weeks to try and finish it up. I won't make any promises, but I will try to get it done by next Friday if I can. Don't want to lose this momentum!

Chapter 14 is live! It's time we spend a chapter with Theron to find out what he's thinking about all this mess... and where he ended up after a certain Damsel fainted. 
          
          As always, thank you so much for your votes and comments. I'm up to 3,000 reads and almost 200 votes! I've also thrown Snow White & the Seven Knights into the running for the Wattys this year. Feels like a bit of a long shot, but hey, you never know if you don't try!
          
          Also, I'm going to be participating in Camp NaNoWriMo in July. The goal is 25,000 words... but it's one of my busiest months this summer. Here's hoping I can crank out some more chapters! Trying hard not to break the streak I have going!
