I might have to just scrap the scene I'm working on, start over, and write it in a different way. It's really not working for me at the moment

Kind of in the mood to make fun of dystopian settings in books, that was the original goal of  my story but other plot points got in the way. Maybe I'll spend more time with that after I develop Rayne and the word building.
