Oh my gosh. Let me just say this: 
          
          I just finished “Broken Arrows” and I finished it all in one day (six hours, to be exact). I LOVED IT SO MUCH. I have to admit I teared up and cried at some of the scenes and I don’t usually cry at books. So yeah. THIS WAS PROBABLY THE BEST BOOK IVE READ IN A WHILE. 
          
          Also: you deserve WAY MORE followers.

          when you stay silent, you take the side of the oppressor. you should be angry. you should be devastated. as long as Black people continue to suffer, you should never be satisfied with the way the world works. you should always work and fight to make it better, and use the privilege you have in any way you can.

Can I just say... Broken Arrows is an absolute masterpiece. It's written it so amazingly that my heart bursts at the end of every single chapter. You're a brilliant writer!!

hi everyone!
          
          first, i want to apologize for being so inactive on here. it’s been a month since i’ve updated golden, and i haven’t written more of it at the moment which is why i haven’t added a new chapter. i wish i had a concrete reason as to why i haven’t been an active writer lately, but the truth is that i’ve just been incredibly busy between taking care of my family and preparing travel plans for myself.
          
          which brings me to my next point! i’m headed back to school in a few weeks! except i’m studying abroad. haha. it should be a really fun experience, and i’m super excited about it (although really nervous as well), but it does mean that i won’t be sacrificing my free time to write. i’m going to be in completely unfamiliar places having new experiences, and i don’t want to hinder that by focusing so much on putting out chapters weekly.
          
          alas! since i’ll be back to a normal schedule of sorts, i should be back into more of a regular writing rhythm. while i probably won’t be participating in nanowrimo this year and won’t be pushing myself to write every minute, i do want to get back into golden—and into other projects as well! 
          
          i plan to finish golden by the end of the year. if i fail, feel free to yell at me. i’m about halfway through right now, so it should be feasible! 
          
          after that, i’m kinda bouncing between a few ideas that haven’t quite fleshed themselves out in my head. but they’re getting there. (if you want a sneak peek into what’s coming up, you should check out my pinterest. shameless self-promo. but for real, i leave a lot of hints and plans up there.)
          
          soooo. that’s what’s going on in my life. i’ll still be active and replying to comments etc. on here, but i’m not making wattpad a priority for the next three months. (writing will be one, though—if that makes sense.)
