I’ve been kinda depressed lately. I don’t want to blur the line between sadness and depression. But this feels too persistent to be sadness. I don’t know if this is connected but I promised myself I wouldn’t write smut and yet I feel really tempted.

I had to miss my writer's group meeting because I was fasting that day and the meeting was at the same time as when I was breaking my fast. It sucks because those meetings energize and inspire me. Speaking of fasting, it's been draining my energy so I'm putting off updates, but I'm not leaving Wattpad.

I have the #10 place in goodgrammar despite the fact that “goodgrammar” is bad grammar.

You might notice that my Green Arrow story is #8 out of 1300 in “hetero.” I think that’s hilarious because there have to be more than 8 straight love stories better than mine.

My story, ‘Aurora,Illinois’ got an honorable mention in the Clouded Ink Awards (Mystery/Suspense Winner’s Circle). I am a lucky guy.

I don't want to scare the kids out there but some of us still dream about school years after we've graduated. It might be connected to anxiety. It seems part of your brain stays fixated on school.
