I don't think very many of my readers follow me, but to those that do—the chapter I'm writing right now may not be the best, or the longest. and I apologize for that. I have spurts of creativity when I write my chapters, and they come and go. chapter 21, in my opinion, is the best one I've written in a while. 22? it's not going to be as good. I haven't had a creative spurt for my story since I wrote chapter 21. I'm writing chapter 22, but it might be a little while before it's published. I'm sorry.

okay I'm updating adopted soon but I'm waiting because I'm forcing myself to have two chapters ready because that's what y'all deserve

also—holy frick we got to 4K on adopted!! y'all mean the world to me and it's insane how when I don't update for periods of time I still get a mass of reads and agh I just can't thank y'all enough

im working bit by bit on adopted but an update should be out maybe next Friday?? I get out of school next Friday but I'm not going because there's no need so I should have time to finish the chapter I'm working on and revise it by then ❤️

I'm sorry I haven't updated adopted in a little while...I feel like I've been neglecting it but the truth is I've been sick for the past week and i didn't go to school at all this week. I'm starting to feel a little bit better now but my energy is constantly drained and I'm almost always tired by about 9:45 every night, and I even have taken a 2 hour nap every day! I'm going to try to fit in an update this weekend but if it doesn't happen I will most definitely have somewhat of a chapter done by the end of the weekend. If I don't update on a weekend, expect an update to come during the week, there's not much I can do other than tell you that now. I'm sorry this is so long, but I feel like I need to explain myself. Thank you guys so much for being amazing. I love you guys so so much! -m
