@lazy_person yes, I want to write without the pressure of maintaining a set word count right now, but I will probably cut thousands of words later to reduce the size of the book once it is complete

Finally read all the chapters of LK. The story is hitting too close to home. And I am saying this to appreciate and let you know your story is on the right track and you are conveying the idea and your thought behind the story very beautifully keeping all the reality part in check as well as giving hope to readers. ❤️

I know how busy life gets that's why. Otherwise there were times I just wanna chime in here and spam your message board becuz I had a very interesting update I wanted to share but you know I might as well just reactivate my ig in a few days and tell you soon.

honest talk here: I can't seem to connect with Leftover Khichri. I don't know if it's because I came up with the story years and years ago when I was a different person, or if the story is at a point that is boring, or maybe I want to write something different, but it's been hard writing mindfully. And I absolutely refuse to write half-heartedly.

@papa-ki-fairy I can totally understand the part where wanting to write something else but feeling the need to finish what we've started can feel unsettling and frustrating T_T. In my opinion, I'd say you can try out the new idea alongside so it feels like decluttering sort of? As for whether the book is at a boring point? Absolutely not. ❤️

@papa-ki-fairy because this story is based on faith you can give your characters a growth too if u want. A different way to think. But do not leave it incomplete please. Things have progressed beyond half way of the book. U can take ur time. But please finish the story.

Also . There has been barely any interaction between mubashir and Shasmeen .But I felt jittery when he turned towards her .Im loving it. And I loveeee Abeer and shasmeens bond . And o completely get shasmeen -her starting to feel like a burden -even though no ones even implying anything even remotely close .its her own conscience -and that’s…sad but so real in our society .yes. That’s all.try and update the next chapter soon ?pretty pleasee:,)
