@rosegoldwrites wattpad heavily relays on vote, views etc. The algorithm itself won't start pushing your story unless it reaches average views on that particular genre. But honestly it's like a little lottery, you don't know when you'll hit jackpot. And if you can't hold readers after the first five chapters then even the algorithm can't push you too far.vote for vote or stuff only helps till the first 1K. Hope it helps you.
