i wanted to come on here and do a longer post about todays election.
i am not american. but despite this, i remain absolutely outraged and disgusted by the news that i woke up to today. my heart goes out to every single mother, daughter, grandmother, auntie, sister, child. every single person who loves somebody despite the constraints they face every single day. every single person who is told they cannot stay in their own home country. every person who has faced years of oppression only to be faced with a further 4 years of this terrible reality.
donald trump has been abundantly clear in his words that he has no respect for women, no respect for the lgbtqia community, no respect for anyone other than the top 1% of business owners within their country. this is the man that rules over an entire country now. this abuser, this creature.
kamala harris, you have given hope and you have given wonder and you have inspired and fought and cried and spread wishes across the followers of the democratic regime. i can only hope that after trumps reign of horror, america is painted blue once more and everyone will be able to live without fear and without fright.
fight for what you believe in. fight for your rights. this is not over !!
