Should i write a story with this premise? My friend jake found it:
"I remember the day when the red appeared on the moon. The world stood in fear as they looked to agencies like nasa to explain. After two weeks of hearing the news reporters talk of the mysteries the truth was told. What was on the moon was alive. Some sort of alien that had lived under the surface. Millions of them now covered the lunar surface. Visible to the eye were new mountains on its surface. Sparks came from the newly built structures. Soon as the first of the satellites returned images to earth those mountains became space ships. The world sat in fear. Then another week had gone by and tv and radios cut out. A strange noise blasted through all of them. The militaries of the world prepared for war as the alien ships were completed. They launched. But instead of earth they headed off in the opposite direction. A series of months later some of the worlds top minds decoded the strange signals from the lunar creatures. It read "if you value your lives, run."
